Jackie Marie Jordan

Jackie Marie Jordan, 80, of Indianapolis, passed away on Tuesday, October 4, 2016. She was born on April 30, 1936 in Piedmount, Alabama to the late John Williams and Sara (Wilson) Canter. Jackie worked for many years as an Operator for Western Electric. She enjoyed time spent with her family and will be greatly missed by those who survive; sons, Charles (Cindy) Jordan and Rickey Jordan, Sr.; grandchildren, Robbie Jordan, Casey Jordan, Bridgette (John) Walker, Rickey (Amy) Jordan, Laura Jordan; great-grandchildren, Johnny Walker, Jr., Kaylynn Jordan and Emma Marie Jordan. Jackie is also survived by brothers, Paul Canter and Thomas Canter; sisters, Gayle Jordan and Peggy Johnson. She was preceded in death by her parents; former husband, Jesse Jordan; daughter-in-law, Karen Jordan. Funeral services for Jackie will be held on Friday, October 7, 2016 at Flanner and Buchanan – Memorial Park at 2pm, with visitation 2 hours prior to the service. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to the Alzheimer’s Association.
