Harold Lee Jordan

Harold Lee Jordan, 94, of Indianapolis passed away April 15, 2018.

Harold was born March 21, 1924 in Indianapolis to the late Frank and Eva Jordan. He honorably served his country in the United States Navy from 1944-1946 during WWII, where he was stationed in the Philippines and New Guinea. He worked at Irvington Ice and Coal, Dohrn Transfer for over 30 years, retired from Hall Freight, and later worked for Circle City Security Systems with his son. Harold was a member of Amity United Methodist Church, Teamsters Retirees Club and the Local 135.

He is survived by his children, Charles W. Jordan (Melody), Jack L. Jordan (Christina), James J. Jordan (Shawn Fox); grandchildren, Jeremy, Josh, Brittany, Jack Jr., Aerial, Jasmine, Cody and Ashley. He was preceded in death by his parents; loving wife of 63 years, Viola M. Jordan; siblings, Robert M. Jordan, Juanita M. Huddleston, and Harry Elmer Jordan.

A funeral service will take place 2:00pm on Thursday, April 19, 2018 with visitation from 10:00am-2:00pm at Flanner Buchanan- Washington Park East.
