Harold Aaron Davis
79 years old, of Brownsburg, Indiana passed away on Friday, March 10, 2017. He was born in Indianapolis to the late Rev. Harold A. and Katherine L. Davis. He worked with sheet metal at local #41 for more than 25 years and taught the trade of sheet metal at Arsenal Technical High School. He retired in 2005 at Rolls Royce where he worked as a Tin Smith over 25 years.
Harold was a ham radio enthusiast and provided services for overseas ministries, Salvation Army, and Hendricks County Amateur Radio (HCARS). Harold was a lifetime member of Westside Church of the Nazarene. He loved spending quality time fishing and traveling with family.
Harold is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, JoAnn Davis; children, Karen Craig (John), Kathy Barnes (David), Marilyn Davis (Lorrie), and Keith Davis (Cara); 7 grandchildren, Justin and Kyle Carlton, Stephanie Wallace, Michael Craig, Jack and Ava Davis, and Kristina Carter; 1 great grandchild, Aliya Thomas; 1 expecting great grandchild; sister, Miriam Gregory.
Memorial Contributions can be made to Hendricks County Amateur Radio Society.
Visitation will be held from 4pm-8pm Monday, March 13, 2017 with Funeral Service Tuesday, March 14, 2017 at 1pm at Westside Church of the Nazarene 8610 W 10th St, Indianapolis, IN. Burial will follow in Washington Park North Cemetery.
