Graham Lawson Russell, 21, of Norman, Oklahoma passed away on October 28, 2019. He was born June 25, 1998 in Danville, Indiana to Mark and Julie Russell; he was one of three children.
Graham was a 2017 graduate of Edmond Sante Fe High School in Oklahoma. He was a junior at the University of Oklahoma where he studied business finance; his goal was to attend law school. He loved sports, especially the St. Louis Cardinals, and was a season ticket holder for OU football. Graham enjoyed music and video games but he especially loved making others laugh. He was incredibly intelligent with a quick witted sense of humor, a dangerous combination for someone who could do great voices and impressions. He graciously inherited his dad’s dry sense of humor and his mother’s kindness and patience, some of his greatest, most memorable attributes. His sudden passing leaves an empty space in the hearts of all who were lucky enough to meet him. He was an amazing son, brother, grandson, nephew, and friend to all he met. Graham danced to the beat of his own drum; he was truly one of a kind and will never be forgotten.
He is preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Diane Sneyd. Surviving to cherish his memory are parents, Mark and Julie; sister, Molly; brother, Owen; grandparents, John and Peggy Sneyd, Terry and Becky Wilbur, Mark E. Russell; aunts and uncles, Constance, Aaron (Cristina), Tara (Adam), Ben (Brittney), Beth (Mike), Theresa (John), Mary (Gil), and Andy; best friends, Ryan Hernandez and Ian Cox; and a host of cousins, extended family, and friends.
