Gracie Marie (Neely) Donaldson

Gracie Marie (Neely) Donaldson,96, of Carbondale, Illinois and formerly of Indianapolis, passed away January19, 2017. She was born March 19, 1920 inWayne County, Kentucky the daughter of Euell and Emmerine (Keith) Neely. She worked at Mallory and Mead Westvaco for30 years retiring in 1982. She was alongtime member of Emerson Avenue Baptist Church in Indianapolis, Indiana. She Married Cecil Earl Donaldson on September2, 1939 in Spencer, Indiana and he preceded her in death December 19,1997. She was also preceded in death byher parents; brothers, Glen and Wayne Neely; sisters, Phyllis Neely Hayes,Imogene Neely Hester, Gladys Neely Wells and Betty Neely Lee; and herson-in-law, Dr. Charles Clemens.

Surviving are herchildren, Delzo E. Donaldson and his wife Anne of Carmel, Indiana and Marsha K.Donaldson Clemens of Carterville, Illinois; 5 grandchildren, Patty, David,Charlie and Michael Donaldson and Kimberly Clemens; 3 great-grandchildren alsosurvive her, Kyle, Savannah and Sarah Donaldson.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM, Wednesday, January 25,2017 at Flanner and Buchanan-Washington Park East, 10722 E. Washington St., Indianapolis,IN 46229, with visitation from 12:00 PMuntil the service time. Burial will bein Washington Park East Cemetery.
