George Michael Catron

George Michael Catron, 72, of Carmel passed away July 3, 2019.  He was born April 21, 1947, in Marion, VA, the son of the late Rhea Leonard and Luzilla (Blevins) Catron.  He married Teresa Montene Arnold on March 25, 1988.

Mike was the proud owner and operator of Catron Equipment Sales, Inc.  He was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Virginia an active member of the Hamilton County Republican party, and an American Red Cross Volunteer.  He was an avid cyclist, loved to cook and work outdoors, but his greatest enjoyment was being with his family and grand-dogs.

He is survived by his loving wife of 31 years, Teresa Catron; three children, Chris Catron, Andrea Willis, and Jeff Catron; grandson, Dantea Cannon; three brothers, Jack, Don, and Gary Catron; and several nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will take place Saturday, August 3, 2019 at Cool Creek Nature Center (2000 East 151st Street, Carmel 46033).  Friends are welcome from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m., with light refreshments being served. Personal memories to be shared at 12 noon.
