Gary W. Pearson

77, of Indianapolis, passed away on May 4, 2018.  Gary was born on September 3, 1940 in Bloomfield, Indiana.  He was a graduate of Ben Davis High School.   He was a Meter Reader for Indianapolis Power and Light for 42 years, retiring in 2001.  He was a member and House Committee Leader for the American Legion Post 103, Mooresville, Indiana.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Leslie and Edith Pearson and brother, Tom Pearson.  He is survived by his wife, T. Joann Pearson; children, Sherrie (Mike Wallace) Pearson Smith, Christine (Davey) Meek, Laura (Monte) Stultz, Cindy Giuliani, Larry Giuliani and Lynn Giuliani; brother, David (Elaine) Pearson; 8 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren.  Visitation will be Tuesday, May 8, 2018 from 4 to 8 pm at Flanner Buchanan-Decatur Township.  Service will be Wednesday, May 9, 2018 at 11 am with visitation from 10 am at Charity Church, 2700 S. Tibbs Ave., Indpls., IN.  Burial will follow at West Newton Cemetery.  Memorial contributions to American Cancer Society.
