Gary L. "GL" Dorsett, Sr.

62, Indianapolis, IN passed away February 18, 2014. "GL" was born on October 25, 1951 in Indianapolis, IN. "GL" was a concrete finisher and a member of Laborers and Hod Carriers Union. "GL" was an avid car enthusiast, Drag Racer and a member of the NHRA and he served in the U S Marines from 1971-1975. Survivors: wife, Delores "Jeannie" (Ping) Dorsett; sons, Jack (Shelley) Dorsett and Jason (Jackie) Dorsett; father, Harry C. Dorsett; sisters, Donna Morris, Sherrie Crain and Penny Dorsett; grandchildren, Colin and Kendyll Dorsett. He was preceded in death by his mother, Doris (Hoover) Dorsett. Visitation for Gary will be from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. Sunday, February 23, 2014 at Flanner and Buchanan - Floral Park 425 N. Holt Road. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday, February 24, 2014 at Flanner and Buchanan. Internment will follow at Floral Park Cemetery.
