Gary Joe Bontrager

Gary Joe Bontrager, 61, of Indianapolis, passed away on March 3^rd, 2021.

He was born in Indianapolis, IN to the late Paul Bontrager and Virginia Louise Sponcil on December 4^th, 1959.

Gary graduated from Warren Central High School in 1978 and went on to work in many different career fields. He was Vice President of Sponcil delivery from 1986 – 1992. Gary retired in October 2020 from Colorcon after 27 years of service.

He loved playing golf, hunting, fishing, and riding motorcycles, but his favorite way to spend his free time was with family.

Gary is survived by his wife of 40 years Lorri Ann Bontrager; his two sons Joseph and Zachary Bontrager; mother Virginia Bontrager-Sponcil; brother Gregory A. Bontrager; 2 daughter-in-laws Brandy Bontrager and Megan Aguilar; 5 grandchildren: Lucas, Adam, Andrew, Saraya and Dahlia.

He is preceded in death by his father Paul J. Bontrager and sister Linda Bontrager-Cartwright.
