2016. He loved surrounding himself with family and friends. Fred was employed with Conrail formerly known as Indianapolis Union Station for over 40 years. He enjoyed spending his time outdoors gardening and maintaining his lawn.

Fred is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Carol Rohde; daughter, Pamela Rohde; 2 granddaughters, Lea Snyder (Howie) and Nicole Muñoz (Hector); 3 great-granddaughters, Ava and Evelyn Snyder, Lilian Muñoz. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Ursula Rohde; sister, Henrietta Rohde; brother, Carl Rohde.

Memorial Contributions can be made to St. Jude’s Children Hospital or Billy Graham Evangelistic Association.
