Fannie Norene Lee,
91, of Indianapolis, passed away September 24, 2018. She was born March 22, 1927 in Burkesville, Kentucky to Sid and Annie Willis. Fannie could best be remembered for her famous chocolate gravy, fried apple pies, green beans and so much more. She didn’t know a stranger and obtained many neighborhood friends over the course of her life. Fannie and her husband enjoyed the record shop located on Morris Street in Indianapolis, IN. She also loved gardening and maintaining her beautiful flowers. Fannie will be missed sorely by all of the lives she has touched.
Fannie was preceded in death by her parents, Sid and Annie Willis; husband, Vester Lee “Odell”; and siblings, Pauline Fletcher, Raymond Willis, Odell Willis, Christine Roberts; Irene Lee, J.D. Willis, Truman Willis, Madie Watson, and David Willis. She is survived by her children, Linda Lee, Dennis Lee, and Tony Lee; grandchildren, Jessica Lee, Aisha Lee, Dustin Lee, Derek Lee, Farah Lee, Kalli Lee, and Taelor Lee; and 4 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Thursday, September 27, 2018 from 10am-2pm at Flanner Buchanan-Floral Park, 425 N. Holt Rd., Indpls. Funeral services will immediately follow at 2pm.
