Evelyn Lorene Brown

Evelyn Lorene Brown, 87, of Indianapolis, passed away on Saturday, April 2, 2016. She was born on June 6, 1928 in Brownstown, IN to the late Balem and Ica Fern (Baird) Allman. Evelyn was a longtime member of Eagledale Baptist Church, now Crosspointe Baptist Church, and enjoyed crafting and playing poker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Brown; her parents; and several siblings. Evelyn is survived by her children, Barb (Mike) Ratcliff, Michael (Carol) Brown, Bruce (Rebecca) Brown, Marcia (Tim) Pedzinski, James (Melissa) Brown; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Evelyn is also survived by her sister, Ada May. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 9, 2016 at 1pm at Flanner and Buchanan – Speedway, with visitation 2 hours prior to the service.
