Eleanor "Kay" Lawrence

Eleanor Kay Lawrence was born in Indianapolis, Indiana and was a Hoosier all her life. Kay was married to James R. “JR” Lawrence on December 12th, 1970. JR and Kay were the proud parents of Kimberly Kay Lawrence and Robin Diane Lawrence. Kay was a fixture at Eastern Star meetings, passing through the line to be Worthy Matron many times. Kay was active in Eastern Star, helping sister chapters as well as Chaperoning Queen Ester Chapter till it combined with Oakland. Kay represented State of Indiana at grand Chapter as well as at the National Level. Kay was active in her children’s lives as well as her grandchildren, spoiling them rotten. Kay is preceded in death by JR Lawrence and her grandson Mathew Brian Lahey. Kay is survived by her Daughters Kimberly Lawrence and Robin Costner, her Son In Law Ken Costner, her grandchildren, Melissa Nicole Lahey and William Alexander Smith, Kenda Lee Gorham and her Husband Nicholas Keith Gorham, and Kahlan Renee Houston and great grand-daughters Abigail Paige Gorham, and Aria Tatum Lynn Wesley
