Edwin B. Black

Edwin B. “Ed” Black, 79 of Mooresville, Indiana passed away February 25, 2023. He was born on November 27, 1943, in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late Edwin B. and Helen (Holmes) Black. Ed was a Truck Driver for many years driving for Pepsi Cola, Liquid Transport, and retired from UPS. Ed was a proud member of the Teamsters Local # 135, where he had served a Union Steward and was a longtime member of the Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge #500. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, gambling, and traveling with his family on numerous trips. He was loved by many and will be missed. Ed is survived by his loving wife, Frieda (Jarboe) Black, his children, Eric E. (Leeanne) Black, Jerry R. (Kathy) Black, and his grandson, Eddie C. Black. Visitation for Ed will be held on Wednesday, March 1, 2023, 4:00pm-8:00pm at Flanner Buchanan Floral Park with his funeral service on Thursday, March 2, 2023, at 11:00am. Ed will be laid to rest at Washington Park East Cemetery, Indianapolis, Indiana.
