Douglas R. Moody

Douglas R. Moody, 59, passed away Thursday, September 1, 2016. The son of Donald R. and Virginia M. Moody, he was a graduate of Ivy Tech Community College and was employed by IUPUI Library for over 35 years. An avid baseball fan, he worked several years for the Indianapolis Indians. Despite physical challenges, he accomplished much in his life. He loved the Lord and was a member of Chapel Rock Christian Church. He ran the sound board for Chapel Rock Christian Church and Lynhurst Baptist Church.

He was predeceased by his father, Donald R. Moody and Aunt Linda Townsend. He is survived by his mother Virginia M. Moody and his 2 brothers David L. (Jan) and Ronald D.(Sherry) Moody. He was a wonderful uncle to his 2 nieces and 3 nephews. He also had 5 great nephews and 2 great nieces. He is also survived by his dear friend Terri Walker.
