Donald L. Rowe

Donald L. Rowe, 84, of Indianapolis, passed away September 9^th, 2021. He was born in Fontanet, Indiana, December 13^th, 1936, to parents Maurice Rowe and Dorothy Van Hook.

Don graduated high school in Clinton, Indiana in 1955. He went on to proudly serve his country in the United States Air Force.

Don worked as a job setter at Ford for 31 years before retiring.

On March 11^th, 1990, he married his loving wife, Marie (Kates) Rowe, in Las Vegas Nevada. They shared 31 wonderful years together.

He was a valued, loyal member of both the Masonic Lodge and Scottish Rite.

For over 16 years, Don has been a faithful member of the Sunnyside Road Baptist Church.

Don was a warmhearted, social gentleman. He and his wife Marie enjoyed traveling all around the world. Don loved camping and he also enjoyed square dancing.

He was a devoted husband, father, brother, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Don is survived by his wife Marie; Sons Steven Rowe (Trudy) and Stuart Rowe (Justina); Daughter Debbie Wentland (Ron); Stepchildren Philip Mullins (Kathy), and Douglas Mullins; Grandchildren Zachary Rowe (Keirstan), Ian Rowe, Davis Wentland, and Regan Wentland; and Great Grandson Kaleb Rowe; Sisters Tally Castagnohi (Celse) and Sue Willsey; Half Sister Wanda Goins (Joe) and Sharon; and Half Brother: Chester Rowe.

Don is preceded in death by his parents and his half brother Ronnie Rowe.

Visitation for Don will be Tuesday, Sept 14^th, at Flanner Buchanan Washington Park East, from 1pm-3pm. His funeral will begin at 3pm. He will be laid to rest at Washington Park East Cemetery.
