Diane Louise Rogers

DianeLouise (Hunter) Rogers age 65 passed away peacefully at home on Monday March14, 2016 after a brief battle with cancer. She was preceded in death by her father Robert R Hunter. Diane was born to Robert and Virginia(Gootee) Hunter on September 12, 1950. Diane graduated from Cardinal Ritter High School in 1968. She then went to work for AT&T as a longdistance operator and retired from there. After staying at home for a while she decided to go back to school. She attended Ivy Tech to become a certifiednurses’ aid. She graduated in 1996 onthe Deans’ list. She was also a memberof the honor society of Phi Theta Kappa. Diane then went to work for Gateway; a group home for mentally illwomen. She retired from there in 2005 tofinally enjoy home life. Survivingfamily members are her husband Corwin Cory Rogers; mother Virginia L Hunter;brothers’ John (Melissa) Hunter and David Hunter; nieces and nephews KatieHunter, Brandon (Katie) Hunter, Shannon Hunter and Kennedy Hunter and her greatniece Grace Hunter. She will be missed bymany. We love you Diane. Services will be held on Saturday March 26^th.2016 at Flanner and Buchanan Washington Park North with visitation from 11:30amto 1:00pm followed by a 1:00 pm service. Luncheon will be held at Washington Park North following the service forfamily and friends.
