David Wayne Porter

77, of Indianapolis, passed away April 4, 2019. He was born on November 27, 1941 in Indianapolis, Indiana as the son of Rex and Kathleen Porter.

After graduating high school David followed his passion and started working on cars. This passion led to him eventually owning his own body shop, Triangle Body Shop, for over 30 years. David loved classic cars and racing. He also enjoyed fishing and hunting in his spare time.

David is survived by his children: Greg (Leslie) Porter, Lisa (Osman) Manueles; and granddaughters: Abby, Audrey Conner; and sister-in-law, Judy Luker.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and wife of 50 years, Marsha Porter.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Tuesday, April 9, 2019, from 5-7pm at Flanner Buchanan – Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Sue Ann Wortman Cancer Center.
