David Lovell

David A. Lovell, 60, of Greenfield, passed away February 6^th, 2021. He was born in Louisville, Kentucky and raised by his parents James and Ann (Andrews) Lovell. David graduated with his bachelor’s degree in engineering from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology. He owned his own company and worked as an engineer for many years. In 1991, he married the love of his life, Jennifer Allford. They spent 30 wonderful years together. David was a high-spirited, loving man. He enjoyed being outdoors, hunting and fishing. David was a great chess player. He and his wife loved to travel together, frequenting Florida, and taking trips abroad. David was a proud member of the Masonic Lodge 726. He adored his family and friends and will be greatly missed by all. David is survived by his wife, Jennifer; his daughters Megan (Chris) Hawsey and Tara (Tony) Hansen; grandchildren Casey Phillips, Abby Phillips, Dylan Curtis, Lizzie Dotson, Hannah Hawsey, Madelyn Hawsey, Maxwell Hansen, and Tommy Hansen. Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by his daughter Diana Polley; and his sister Kathryn Holloway. David will have Masonic Rites, on Thursday February 11^th, at 5pm, at Flanner Buchanan Washington Park East. Masonic Rites can be viewed virtually using this link. Visitation will follow from 5:30pm until 7pm. His funeral service will be private, and he will be laid to rest at Washington Park East Cemetery.
