David Lee Moore

David Lee Moore, age 73, of Noblesville, Indiana passed away peacefully September 10, 2022, surrounded by loved ones. He was born August 15, 1949, in Indianapolis, Indiana to Jay Lee and Dolores Catherine (Taylor) Moore.

David will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 22 years, Lynnette; children: Aaron, Andrew, and Ariana; grandchildren: Skyler, Malone, Harper, and Bishop; siblings Mark (Holly); Terri and Sherri (Hershel); and numerous other family members and friends.

David was preceded in death by his parents, Jay Lee and Dolores Catherine and brother Michael.

David worked as a computer specialist at Eli Lilly and Company, supporting the Greenfield Laboratories, and at Lilly Corporate Center as part of the Global Manufacturing Solution team. David enjoyed traveling to support Lilly Global sites and received multiples innovations and achievement awards. He retired after 40 years in 2008.

David enjoyed golf and spending time with his family in his free time.  If he wasn’t on a golf course you could be assured he was listening to his new favorite band he discovered last week.  His passion for music was something that transcended generations and was something that lived inside his soul.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m., on Thursday, September 15, followed by a celebration of life service at 2:00 p.m., at Flanner Buchanan – Oaklawn Memorial Gardens (Conner Suite), 9700 Allisonville Road, Indianapolis 46250.  To view the livestream of the service, please click HERE.
