Dana Earl Thomas Jr

Dana Earl Thomas Jr., 37, of Gary, Indiana went to be with the Lord on September 13, 2022. Dana was born on June 26, 1985, to loving parents, Dana E Thomas Sr., and Kathy Louise (Jackson) Thomas. He was raised in Gary, IN and was a 2003 Graduate of Emerson Visual Performing Arts School where he took up music.

Dana played the saxophone, cello, and upright bass. He had so many other gifts and talents that he had not developed. Although he spent many years working at Catco and Indiana Botanic Gardens, he passionately enjoyed working for Donlevy Laboratories INC in Crown Point, mainly because he loved chemistry and the people he worked with.

Dana enjoyed gaming, playing basketball, and spending time with his family. Dana moved to be closer to his parents and family because he was a very family-oriented person.

Dana gave his life to God at a very early age and has never strayed away from his Christian faith. He is now gone to celebrate with Jesus in heaven, while we celebrate his life on earth. Dana will be sorely missed by all the lives he touched. He undoubtedly left this world too soon.

Dana is survived by his parents, Dana E. Thomas Sr. and Kathy Louise (Jackson) Thomas; his brother, Daniel Thomas; his sisters, Shana Thomas, Danielle Thomas (Jason), Kimberly (Fred)(Thomas) Parks, Destini Thomas; and a host of nieces, nephews, and great nieces.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September 24, 2022, at 2pm held at Flanner Buchanan-Washington Park East, 10722 East Washington Street in Indianapolis, Indiana.
