Dale Alan Waggoner, 74 of Indianapolis was born January 9, 1942 and died on February 26, 2016. He was born in Indianapolis, to Albert Marion and Margaret Louise Waggoner. Dale attended Arsenal Technical High School and served in the US Navy during the Viet Nam era. After his military service, he returned home and went to work for Ford Motor Company where he would work for the next 34 years until his retirement in 1998. Dale was a member of the NRA, Moose Lodge #17 and was an Associate Member of the FOP. He was fan of Elvis Presley, movies, fast cars, and fishing but especially guns and knives.
He is preceded in death by his parents and his sisters, Elizabeth Waggoner and Gail Waggoner Hansen. Surviving to cherish his memory are his son and daughter-in-law, Roger and Angie Waggoner and his grandson and his wife, Mark and Amanda Waggoner.
Friends may visit from 10 AM until service time at 12 Noon Monday, February 29, 2016 at Flanner and Buchanan – Washington Park East, 10722 E. Washington St., Indianapolis. Entombment will follow in Washington Park East Cemetery. Contributions may be made in his name to the Disabled American Veterans or the Indianapolis Humane Society.
