Colleen Joy Williams

Colleen Joy Williams, 74, of Indianapolis, passed away on August 10^th, 2021. She was born in Indianapolis on May 11^th, 1947 to the late Michael Freddy and Florence Gertrude (Striley) Mock.

Colleen married the love of her life Joe and were married for almost 39 years.

Colleen enjoyed many things, especially sewing and crocheting. She loved to bake; her family fondly remembers her Texas Chocolate Sheet Cake. Colleen enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren more than anything. She will be missed dearly by all her friends and family.

She is preceded in death by her parents; son, Ronnie Standeford; grandchildren, Billy Anderson and Krystina Sheppard; siblings, Virginia Williamson, Elbert Mock, Goldie Skaggs, William Mock, Michael Mock and Sarah Sheppard.

She is survived by her husband Joe Williams; children, Terry (Chrissy) Ambrose, Sean Ambrose, Amy Williams-Deane, and Diane Cline; grandchildren, Terry Ambrose III, Ariann Ambrose, Thomas Mays, Ashley Standeford, Jordan Sheppard, Alisa Sheppard, and Kylee Sheppard; and great grandchildren, Zach Mays, Alyson Mays, Cypres Mays, and John Thomas Nelson.

Visitation will be held Saturday, August 14 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. with services to start at 2 p.m. Colleen will be laid to rest in Washington Park East Cemetery.
