Chris Lamb of Plainfield, Indiana

Born January 2, 1944, at Cuneo Hospital in Chicago, Illinois to Emmett and Eleanore Lamb, the oldest of 8 children. He was called to join his Master in glory on July 26, 2020. He is survived by his brothers Robert Lamb (Susan), Downingtown, PA; Gregory Lamb (Delia), Chicago, IL; Matthew Lamb, Wheeling, IL. Sisters Shelley Pike (Michael), Danville, IN; Monica Piszczek (John) Paw Paw, IL.

Preceding him in death were his parents and brothers Gerard and Terrence. Chris is survived by his first wife Rosemarie of Giessen, Germany, their daughter Dolores Lamb-Schips, and two grandsons David Schips, and Leon Schips; his third wife Christy Cromer of Atlanta, Georgia, and sons Nathan Lamb, Atlanta, Georgia; Isaac Lamb, Mesa, Arizona; and Joseph Cromer, Salt Lake City, Utah. He is survived by his current wife Patricia Browning Lamb of Plainfield, Indiana, her two sons Paul (Marla) and Tony Cox of Indianapolis, Indiana, and her grandchildren, Jordan, Samantha and Brady.

Chris lived an exciting life on six continents and he has no regrets for having missed anything. His favorite place on earth was the Island of Corfu, which is part of Greece. Chris held many jobs including dairy farmer, Greyhound Bus driver, Information Technology Manager for General Electric, Department of Veterans Affairs, and USDA. Chris served in the US Army as a Sergeant E-5 specializing in military intelligence. He was a member of USMAPS, a volunteer service of Assemblies of God Church, where he visited Teen Challenge Centers all over the USA to assist with their computer and networking needs. He was active in both LifePointe Church of the Nazarene of Mooresville, Indiana, and GracePointe Church of the Nazarene of Indianapolis. Service will be officiated by Tim Kellerman, Pastor at GracePointe. Following the service Chris will be cremated and his remains will be interred at Floral Park Cemetery, Indianapolis, in the grave in which his wife, Pat, will eventually be buried. Services are private due to local restrictions. Please reach out to the family for additional details.
