Carolyn Sue McUne, 82, of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away on March 2, 2021. She was born in Bloomington, Indiana to the late John Wiseman and Susie Bernice Puett.

She attended Southside Seventh Day Advent School and went on to work in many different careers over the years. She was most well known for her long-standing career as “Hostess with the Mostest” at MCL. She received many awards for her hard work and spunk on the job. Sue (as she was always known to her family and close friends) was a hard worker but always seemed to be able to take time for fun with her nieces and nephews and grandchildren.

Carolyn is survived by her sister, Christina Bernice Dewitt; her stepdaughters: Rae McUne Miller and Sunny McUne Lake; many grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. She is proceeded in death by her husband, James McUne; her parents, and her brothers: John Jr. (Sonny), Jack, and Charles (Buck).

Services will be held on Monday, March 8, 2021 at 12noon, with visitation from 11AM until the time of service at Flanner Buchanan – Washington Park East, 10722 East Washington Street. Indianapolis, IN 46229.
