Carol L. Hutchinson

Carol Lynn Hutchinson, 64, of Indianapolis, passed away February 8, 2019.

Carol was born on November 19, 1954 in Indianapolis to Tom and Anna McAvoy. She worked as an key punch starting at Western Electric and most recently retired as an accountant from Kimball Electricals. Carol enjoyed going shopping and watching documentaries, but above all else her family was everything to her. She loved family gatherings, especially Christmas, and will be remembered for her fun spirit, kindness, and compassion for others.

She leaves behind her loving husband of 45 years, Kenneth Hutchinson; mother, Anna McAvoy; children, Jennifer (Sid) Lucas and Lisa Hutchinson; grandchildren, Austin Day, Alexis Lucas, Kyle Day, Sida Lucas, Lillian Lucas, and Catelin Day; siblings, Tom (Sarah) McAvoy, Barbara Satkamp, Nancy Peacock, and Marty McAvoy; along with many beloved nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Tom McAvoy.

Friends and family are invited to gather from 10:00am-2:00pm on Saturday, February 16, 2019 at Flanner Buchanan- Washington Park East, 10722 E. Washington Street, Indianapolis, IN, with a funeral service to follow at 2:00pm. She will be laid to rest at Washington Park East Cemetery.
