Carol Ann Jaynes

Carol Ann Jaynes, 80, of Indianapolis, IN passed away unexpectedly March 29, 2021. She was born October 5, 1940 in Indianapolis, IN to the late Jack and Mary (Ewing) Spratt. Carol was a baker for Kroger for many years. She enjoyed being with her family especially spending time with her grandchildren.  She enjoyed reading, going to the grocery store, keeping the house well stocked with food and league bowling years ago with her husband. Carol was an excellent mother and will be dearly missed by her family and those who knew her. She is survived by her children Eddie Jaynes, Debra Jaynes Gootee, Joseph Allen Jaynes, 8 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren. Beside her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Edwin T. Jaynes, a sister Patricia Haymaker and her brothers Bobby Jack Ewing and Jerry Ewing. Services will be Tuesday, April 6, 2021 1PM at Flanner Buchanan – Decatur Township with visitation there 11:00 AM-1:00 PM. She will be laid to rest at Floral Park Cemetery.
