Brett A. Medsker

Westfield, IN

Brett Alan Medsker of Westfield passed away peacefully on December 8 at home surrounded by his loved ones.  He was 57.  He is survived by his mother, Lois Smith (Vembert); three siblings: Quinn, Janae O’Connell (Don Nell), and Anitra Calvert (Jay);  nieces and nephews: Stephanie Duffy (Travis), Shannon Hannemann (Elijah), Sean O’Connell, Samuel Utzig and Ethan Utzig; great nephew,  Bryston Duffy and great niece, Kinzley Duffy; and his girlfriend, Rita Ong.  He also had many loving aunts, uncles and cousins.

Brett never knew a stranger, he loved everyone he met and spread joy wherever he went.  He lived his life for Christ and had a giving spirit.  He was a man who gave so much to anyone who was in need.  All who knew him and loved him will miss his “famous Brett smile.”

Calling will be at Flanner Buchanan-Hamilton Memorial Park from 11am – 1pm on Friday, December 18, 2020 with private services to begin at 1pm.

In accordance with Indiana state regulations, all guests must wear a facial covering and follow social distancing guidelines. If you are experiencing flu-like symptoms, such as fever, cough, shortness of breath, or are currently being tested for Covid-19, we have provided virtual options to communicate and attend services. The services may be viewed online by clicking HERE.  Gatherings in Hamilton County are limited to 50 people at this time.
