Blanche E. Litmer, 92, Indianapolis, passed away April 14, 2016. She was born September 30, 1923, in Indianapolis, the daughter of the late Charles Roy and Anna Elizabeth (Clark) Tullis. She married Donald Litmer on October 29, 1946.
Blanche was a 1941 graduate of Washington High School and then attended Hanover College, where she was a member of Phi Mu Sorority. She retired in 1977 from Union Carbide. Following retirement Blanche and Donald moved to Tucson, AZ, where they resided for the next 30 years. She enjoyed playing tennis, golf, and euchre.
She is survived by her loving husband of almost 70 years, Donald Litmer; three children, Barbara (Don) Lemen, Jim (Tonie) Litmer, and Tina (Jim) Seebeck; four grandchildren, Andrea Litmer, Jonathan (Kristen) Litmer, Rob (April) Lemen, Anna (Kyle) Mills; two step grandchildren, Melissa (Eric) Stimson and Tony Ruday; great granddaughter, Sadie Mills; and two step great granddaughters, Grace and Sophie. She was preceded in passing by a brother, Jim Tullis.
Funeral Mass will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 23, 2016, at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, 410 Pearl Street, Cicero, Indiana.
