Beverly Ann Goodin

Beverly Ann Goodin, 79, of Indianapolis, passed away on Monday, November 1, 2016. She was born in Indianapolis on March 21, 1937 to Leo and Mary C. (Nearpass) Vachet. Beverly was a 1954 graduate of Arsenal Tech High School and attended the University of Cincinnati. She married Bob Goodin on April 28, 1957, he preceded her in death. Beverly was an avid reader and enjoyed playing pinochle. She was a 50+ year member of the Franklin Road Baptist Church. Beverly is survived by her daughters, Laura (Randy) Connelly and Susan Shea; 4 grandchildren, Scott (Ashley) Connelly, April (Jordan) Morrow, Emily and Megan Shea; and 1 great-grandson, Jackson Connelly. She is also survived by her sister, Georgia Fee. Beverly was preceded in death by her parents and husband; brother, Charles David Vachet. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 5, 2016 at 1pm at Flanner and Buchanan – Memorial Park. Visitation will be held 2 hours prior to the service, also at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Beverly’s church, Franklin Road Baptist.
