Beverly A. Coleman Ferguson

Beverly Ann Coleman Ferguson passed away in Fishers, IN on May 19, 2022, at the age of 101. Bev was born in Van Wert, Ohio on April 18, 1921, to George Lansing Coleman and Flossie Park Coleman. She spent her early childhood in Terre Haute, IN with her siblings, Leah Holden, Mary Hurt, George Coleman, Robert Coleman, and Jack Coleman, all predeceased.

At the age of 8, Bev and her siblings entered the Masonic Home Orphanage in Franklin, IN where they remained until graduation from Masonic Home HS.

It was there that Beverly met Roger Lee Ferguson (deceased in 2003). They were married in October 1940 and are the parents of 4 children, Russell (Utah), Timothy (Tennessee), Brian (Indiana – deceased in January 2022), and Ruth Lemler (Indiana). They also have 16 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

Bev and Rog have been members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints since 1952 and have served in many leadership positions, as well as two missions.

Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Flanner Buchanan – Washington Park North, 2706 Kessler Blvd W Dr, Indianapolis, IN 46228. Services will be held on Friday, May 27, 2022, at 2pm.
