Beth Louise Crowell

Beth Louise Crowell, age 28, of Fishers IN, passed away peacefully on February 21, 2018 with family at her side after a long struggle with an eating disorder.

Beth was born on December 28, 1989 in Madison, WI to Dring N. and Pamela L. Crowell. She was a graduate of Carmel High School, and studied nursing at Purdue University and health education at Ashford University. She wanted to help others to learn about and overcome eating disorders and other mental illnesses. She cherished spending time with family, friends, and her beloved pets. She expressed herself artistically, painting or crocheting colorful handmade gifts for loved ones and charities. Her kind heart, beautiful smile, and compassionate spirit brightened our lives. She will be dearly missed.

Beth is survived by her mother, Pamela L. Crowell; brother Andrew M. Crowell (Stephanie), nephew Owen and niece Lucy; grandparents Ruth Mary Crowell and Eugene H. and Sylvia M. Herzan; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and other family members. She was preceded in death by her father Dring. N. Crowell and grandfather Norton B. Crowell.

A memorial service celebrating Beth’s life will be held on March 4, 2018 at 2:00 pm at King of Glory Lutheran Church, 2201 E. 106th St., Carmel IN, with visitation at 1:00 pm. Flanner Buchanan of Carmel IN is handling arrangements. Memorial funds may be directed to the National Eating Disorders Association (NEDA) so that other women and men may find help, hope, and healing.
