Bernice Ann Bullins

Bernice Ann Bullins, 77, of Avon, Indiana went home to Jesus on August 23rd, 2022 surrounded by loved ones.
She was born July 23rd, 1945, in Pineville, Kentucky, the daughter of late Vermont and Ethel Hoskins.
Bernice was survived by her daughter Nancy Fatout; grandchildren: Ricky Fatout and Kaila (David) Miller; great-grandchildren: Autumn Fatout, Gage Fatout, Lilly Fatout, Luke Fatout, and Maverick Miller; and sisters: Jeri (Richard) Dye, Wanda Valentine, and Jerrie (Steve) Mills. Bernice also leaves behind several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She is proceeded in death by her loving husband Vernon Bullins (married in 1963); brothers: Bill Hoskins, Glen Hoskins, and Claude Hoskins; and sister: Bonnie Russell.
Bernice was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother (a title she wore very proud). She was also a sister and aunt. She loved hard; she loved fierce; and she loved without boundaries. Everyone was considered family. She was selfless. Bernice gave even when she didn’t have anything to give. She had a contagious smile and a heart of gold. Our family lost a matriarch, but heaven gained an angel.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, August 31st, 2022 at Flanner Buchanan-Floral Park, located at 425 North Holt Road, Indianapolis, Indiana 46222 starting at 3:00 PM for family and all others will be from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Her service will be on Thursday, September 1st, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Flanner Buchanan-Floral Park. Her final resting spot will be at Floral Park Cemetery. There will be a lunch following the service at the VFW located at 3011 South Lockburn Street, Indianapolis, Indiana 46241.
