Barbaro Jean Pierson, who was affectionately known as “Ms Pierson” “Jean” “ Pumpkin” “Jeanie” “Cutie” “Grandma” “Granny” and flat out “MOMMA”, she loved being mother and grandmother, this was her greatest accomplishment and her life. She was a homemaker for over 50 years. She love to cook and write poems for her loved one as well as it being her inspiration. Her desire was that one day her poems would be published for everyone to read. She was the “QUEEN” at Bingo and well let you know so by the amount of prizes she won every week. She was a loyal Hoosier Lottery player. Her favorite line: “Did you put my numbers in?” One thing was for sure, she was a talker. Ms Pierson was a loving and caring person with an uncanny sense of humor. She was witty, smart, and a joy to be around. She never met a stranger and never turned a person away who was in need, even if it was the neighborhood kids or a group of people who showed up in her yard that she fed. She opened her house and her heart. She was an advocate for the elderly. She looked after those who she felt were being mistreated or not provided the adequate amount of care that she expected for them to receive.
