Barbara Jean Ward-Bishop

Barbara Jean Ward- Bishop of Indianapolis, born December 31, 1951, passed away at home on January 19, 2022.

Barbara was preceded in death by her grandson, Franky Sandoval and mother, Bernice Barnes.

Survivors include her husband, David Bishop; daughter, Candie Branham; grandson, Cruz Sandoval; sister, Elizabeth Denk; and brother, Jimmy Buchanan.

Barbara was a loving woman and friend to all. She will be missed greatly. Heaven has truly gained an angel. Barbara was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and friend.

Visitation will be held Saturday, January 29, 2022 from 11am to 2pm at Flanner Buchanan – Washington Park East, 10722 East Washington Street, Indianapolis, Indiana, 46229. A funeral service will immediately follow at 2pm. Barbara will be laid to rest in Washington Park East Cemetery.
