Barbara Ann Ogden

Barbara Ann Ogden, 88, Indianapolis, passed away August 24, 2019. Barbara was a fantastic Wife, Sister, Mom, Mamaw, GG and Friend. Barb, retired from HNTB where she worked as a receptionist for many years. During those years is when she met Marc whom she later married. She was an avid Pacers and Colts fan, not a fair weather fan. She was a die hard, win or lose she stuck beside them. Reggie Miller was her favorite player. She had many good times over the years in her and Marcs travels. They loved going on vacations where the sun was bright and the oceans were blue. She always enjoyed beautiful flowers. One of her favorite flowers was the hibiscus. She also grew beautiful orchids in her kitchen window. She was a great cook and loved to have friends and family over for dinner. She also loved to bake. She was always making muffins for Marc and cookies for the grandkids and great-grandkids. She was loved by many and will be greatly missed.

Survivors include her husband of 39 years, Marc, daughters, Kathie (Jerry) Adams and Sherri (Bob Fredrick) Fuller, stepchildren, Karen (Rick) Erickson, Kurt (Angela) Ogden, Kym (Mike Sitar) Ogden, and Craig (Tonya) Ogden, grandchildren, Rob (Michelle) Deaton, Brian (Jen) Deaton, Sabrina Fuller, and Ryan (Lauren) Fuller, great grandchildren, Myah, Jayden, Drew, Kara, and Thaddeus, honorary grandchildren, Lyndal and Lazarus, step-grandchildren, Ryann and Luke and Nicki and Jacob, sister, Shirley Bornman, and longtime family friend, Phyllis Kindle.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 50 E 91st St #100, Indianapolis, IN 46240. Visitation will be held Saturday at Flanner Buchanan-Oaklawn Memorial Gardens (Conner Suite), 9700 Allisonville Rd. Indianapolis from 11-1pm. Funeral services will be held there at 1pm.
