Barbara Ann Baker

Barbara Ann Baker, 90, Indianapolis, passed away September 29, 2022. She was born in Bedford, IN to Samuel F. and Dorothy (Tatom) Armstrong. Barbara was a loving and caring mother and friend.  She retired from the Washington Township School System after 35 years.

Barbara was preceded in death by her husband of 72 years, James Carl Baker, parents, and son, Dennis C. Baker.

Survivors include her children, Julie (John) Wood and Scott (Kandi) Baker, grandchildren, Ashley (Thomas) Wethington, Rachel (fiancé, Zack) Wood, Andrew (Megan) Wood, Gregory Wood and great-grandchildren, Wyatt, Owen and Lyla Wethington and Graham Wood.

Visitation will be held from 9:30-11:30am on Thursday, October 6, 2022 at Flanner Buchanan – Oaklawn Memorial Gardens (Good Shepherd Chapel), 9700 Allisonville Rd. Indianapolis.  Funeral services will begin there at 11:30am.  Burial to follow in Oaklawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
