Austin Tyler Bunn

Austin Tyler Bunn, 19, of Indianapolis passed away May 9, 2023.  He was born June 29, 2003, in Kokomo the son of Christopher M. Bunn and Latisha A. Pulsipher.

From an early age, Austin knew that he was destined to be a police officer.  His love of people, and desire to protect and serve the community was only enhanced by being active in the Carmel Explorers and Cub Cadet programs, and later the Lawrence Explorers.  Following graduation, he joined the Pendleton Correctional Facility as a corrections officer to continue to grow on his path in law enforcement.

He is survived by his mother, Latisha A. Pulsipher; father, Christopher M. Bunn; brother, Christopher Michael “CJ” Bunn Jr.; grandparents, Alan and Marla Pulsipher, and Constance Bunn; and a large extended family of aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A Celebration of Life Service will be at 3:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 30, 2023, at Flanner Buchanan – Hamilton Memorial Park (Prairie Waters), 4180 Westfield Road.  Friends and family are welcome to gather from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the Carmel Police Gift Fund earmarked for youth programs.
