Austin Dale Davisson

July 28, 1988 — June 28, 2021

Fishers, IN

Austin Dale Davisson, 32, of Fishers, IN passed away on June 28, 2021. He was born in Indianapolis, IN on July 28, 1988 to loving parents, Cort D. Davisson and Sarah Jane (McEndree) Davisson. The Davisson family moved several times during Austin’s childhood as his dad’s career took them from Indianapolis to Grand Rapids, MI, Louisville, KY, and North Las Vegas, NV where Austin graduated from Mojave High School in 2006. During his middle and high school years, Austin was involved in church activities, Boy Scouts of America (earning Life rank), and he played football in both KY and NV (back-up QB). Over those years, Austin made many friends, including two of his closest and most enduring friendships with Michael Hirsch (KY) and Chad Kelly (NV). Austin attended the University of Nevada, Reno, graduating with a BS in Business Administration in 2010. He joined Lambda Chi Alpha at UNR and formed important and lasting relationships with his fraternity brothers, including Dexter Ramsey, Taylor Miller, Doug Crossley, Ryan Bresler, and Travis Anderson, MD.

Following college, Austin moved to Seattle where he started his career in management in the warehousing and distribution industry. In Seattle, Austin developed another close friendship with Jason Hunter. After moving back to Indianapolis, Austin eventually went down a different career path moving into consulting and project management, first with Kronos and most recently with Deloitte.

With his former wife, Courtney Whitten Davisson, Austin fathered the most important people in his life, his daughters, Audrey and Sloane. He deeply loved both girls and was proud of Audrey’s success in gymnastics and Sloane’s courage and resilience overcoming retinoblastoma.

Left behind to cherish his memory are his daughters, his parents; his sisters, Amy Davisson and Ally Davisson Riggs; brother-in law, Kyle Riggs; grandmother, Phyllis Davisson; many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews; as well as numerous friends and co-workers.

He was preceded in death by his “Pop”, H. Dale Davisson, and Grandmother, Susan Ross McEndree.

A memorial service will be held July 7, 2021 at 2PM at Flanner Buchanan—Memorial Park, 9350 E. Washington Street. Friends and family may gather from 12PM until the time of the service. Austin will be laid to rest in Memorial Park Cemetery.
