Andy Pepsi' Reynolds

Andy Paul Reynolds, aka “Sir Pepsi”, 66, Indianapolis, passed away January 18, 2017. He was born August 18, 1950 in Wyandotte, Michigan, the son of Jerry and Dorothy (Roden) Reynolds. Andy proudly served in the U.S. Army in Vietnam. He was a "phone man" in the service and for many years in civilian life. He taught himself about computers which led to his current job at Trimedx as a computer technician. Andy was a voracious reader and enjoyed watching and collecting movies. He lived all over the world including Germany, San Francisco, Monterey, L.A., Detroit, and his beloved Hawaii, where he was an avid scuba-diver. He was the self-proclaimed #1 Pepsi fan in the world, earning him his nickname, “Sir Pepsi”. He also loved the Blueman Group and traveled all over the USA for their various concerts and theater shows. Andy was a man of quiet strength, a man of his word, and a man of great integrity; he touched the lives of all who knew him. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Terry Naayers. Andy is survived by his wife of 20 years, Jan Reynolds; his children, Margarita Porter (Raymond), Jesse Reynolds (Linda), Sabrina Davis, Craig Bowen (Jake Miller), JoAnne Bowen, and Jamie Bowen; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; his siblings, Connie Noe (Mike), Bev Snyder (Bill Manville), Richard Chapman (Phyllis), Roger Chapman, Brenda Gambrel, Linda Johns, and Wanda Chapman; his brothers-in-law, Scott Buhler and Britt Buhler (Mary); his sister-in-law, Diane Drozd (Mike); and many nieces and nephews. Andy also had eight step-brothers and step-sisters. Services will be on Monday, January 23 at 1 PM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 10710 Shelborne Road, Carmel, with visitation from 11 AM until service time. Burial will be in Kessler Woods at Washington Park North Cemetery. Memorial gifts may be made to www.pancan.org.
