Alan Richard English

Alan Richard English, 80, of Indianapolis went to be with the Lord on April 21, 2017.

Alan was born on September 14, 1936 in Indianapolis to the late Edward and Gertrude English. He served his country honorably in the US Marine Corps from 1955-1959, worked for Pepsi Cola as a route salesman for over 47 years, and was a member of Little Flower Catholic Church. Alan loved spending time with his family and enjoyed having them over for gatherings to watch Notre Dame.

He leaves behind his loving wife of 60 years, Donna English; six children, Kim Miggenburg (Marty), Karen Lux, Mark English (Tom), David English, Jeff English (Trish), and Kristy Powell; 17 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and siblings, Jerry, Judy, Peggy, and Barbara. He is preceded in death by his parents and 5 siblings.

Friends and family are invited to gather from 4:00-8:00pm on Wednesday, April 26th, at Flanner and Buchanan- Washington Park East, 10722 E. Washington Street, Indianapolis, IN. A funeral mass will be held 10:00am on Thursday, April 27th, at Little Flower Catholic Church, 4720 E. 13th Street, Indianapolis, IN.
