Aileen Gunter

Aileen Gunter, 85, Indianapolis, Indiana went to be with the Lord on November 29, 2015. Aileen was born on February 18, 1930 in Taylor County, Kentucky, the daughter of Alery W. and Pearl E. (Bottoms) Cox. Aileen was a homemaker and her family was very important to her. She had attended West Newton Full Gospel Church and Life Tabernacle Church. Survivors include her children, David L. Evans, Melody L. Russell and Connie J. Eiler; 8 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Christopher Eiler and her siblings, Bertha M. Warren, Dorothy M. Hadley, Edgar R. Cox, Hazel Hughes, Venia Mann, Kirby Cox and Vance Cox. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 8:00 pm Wednesday, December 2, 2015 at Flanner and Buchanan – Decatur Township 5463 Kentucky Ave. Indianapolis, Indiana and from 12 noon on Thursday until services. Funeral services will be at 1:00 p, Thursday at the funeral center with Pastors Danny McAdams and Ron Bowen officiating. Burial will follow in West Newton Cemetery.
