Candle 2There are no words for the loss you have.
Mike was so kind and gentle. Always with the smile that was contagious when he entered the barber shop.
We shared many stories of family vacations and joys that his family gave him.
30 yrs of Haircuts you grow to know and love all of the family. Ellie, Matt, Mark. And spouses.
      And joys of having grandkids.
I will miss Mike. Knowing him was a true privilege.

To the family of Michael Joseph Sinsko, I offer my heartfelt sympathies. Losing a loved one in death is a devastating blow that can leave our hearts crushed and our spirits low. Yet, we are assured at Isaiah 57:15, God resides “with those crushed and lowly in spirit, to revive the spirit of the lowly and to revive the heart of those being crushed”. May the hopeful words He has promised at John 5:28, 29 revive your spirits and hearts during this most grievous time.-jw.org

His office was next to mine when the ISDH Labs were in the Med Science building on Barnhill Dr. I remember great conversations about the Boy Scouts, as my son was a scout at the time. He was a truly great guy.

Candle 1I am heart broken to hear about Mike. Mike was a very close friend and colleague. We both started our careers about the same time in the mid 1970’s. I enjoyed totally his wonderful dedication to public health and working with him for so many years. My heart and prayers go out to Matt and entire Sinsko family.

Mike was the best! A fine Catholic Christian, a family man, a scientist, a servant-leader, and a gentleman. Oh, yes, and a Notre Dame man! May his soul and the souls of all the faithful departed rest in peace!

I remember when we hired Mike at the State Board of Health to direct our vector control program. He was a true professional in every sense of the word. Years later we would run into each other at scouting campouts. It was always a pleasure to talk with Mike. My deepest condolences to his family.
