Ken Keene,
The son of General and GiGi Keene and the owner of Tuckaway, listed on the National Register of Historic Places, died on February 18, 2015. Ken was a consultant on historic preservation over the past 50 years. He and his home were featured in numerous publications and several video productions due to its colorful past and former residents who never seemed to leave. He was responsible for preserving the legacy of the late Nellie and George Phillip Meier and left the world richer and better for having tarried there. Ken is remembered as a master storyteller and a great friend and host to many who walked through the doors of his little bungalow which he cared for over the past 40 years. He is survived by cousins, Robyn Gipson, Kevin Keene, Sandra Stewart, Skip Keene and Bill Keene and a few very dear friends. A Celebration of life will be held in the Spring. Arrangements have been entrusted to Flanner and Buchanan – Broad Ripple.
