Flanner Buchanan’s Day of Giving Results in Donation to Indianapolis Military Honor Guard

Flanner Buchanan was proud to partner with Operation Honor Guard for the October 4th Day of Giving. Operation Honor Guard was started in 2013 as a way to raise money for guard units to purchase uniforms and other necessary materials needed to conduct military honors at funerals.  Since 2013, over $800,000 has been raised in Illinois, Tennessee, California, Colorado, Michigan and Indiana.

On November 7th  Bruce Buchanan (third, right), Owner of Flanner Buchanan, and Maureen Lindley (left), Vice President of Marketing, are shown presenting a check to members of the Indy Metropolitan Military Honor Guard (IMMHG), a local non-profit organization that renders final military honors to all veterans. IMMHG staff shown are (left to right) Walt Sherman, Commander; Dick Braun, Senior Trustee; Wes Anderson, Deputy Commander; and Ron Montague, Adjutant. The check was given at the Community Life Center as part of IMMHG’s Annual Gala.
