Arthur Smit-Roeters

Arthur Smit-Roeters, 92, flew West on February 11, 2023. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, February 18, at 1pm at Good Shepard United Methodist Church, 2015 S. Arlington Ave. Indianapolis, with a gathering to be held prior from 12pm-1pm. He will be laid to rest in Washington Park East Cemetery.

Arthur is survived by his wife, Edith Pacejka Smit-Roeter; his children, Alfred (Brenda) Huizer and Eveline Huizer; his grandchildren, Angela (John) Miller, Ashley (Meghan) Huizer, Edward Hughes; his great grandchild, Naomi Miller; his sister, Yvonne Maassen; his nephew Eric (Veronique) Maassen; and his great niece Robin Maassen.
